Afghanistan/Pakistan Information Officer
Zarlasht Waziry is responsible for setting up IHRLG's Women's Rights Advocacy Resource center in Peshawar, which focuses on resources relating too Afghan women, women's rights and refugee rights. Ms. Waziry also works as the Public Relations Officer and Publications Officer, in which capacity she writes for newspapers and other publications and assists with editing and translation of IHRLG publications. Ms. Waziry also assists with conducting workshops and seminars. Before joining IHRLG, Ms. Waziry worked on the Women's English Language Program of the International Rescue Committee as a senior teacher after completing a English Language Potential Teachers' Training program. She was a law student at The Faculty of Law and Political Sciences in University of Kabul, Afghanistan and is fluent in Dari, Pashtu and English.
