NTIBIDI RAMPETE
Women's Rights Advocacy Program Fellow
Ntibidi Rampete, a South African, comes to IHRLG from the Georgetown University Law Center Women's Law and Public Policy Fellowship Program, where she is a Patricia King Fellow supported by the Rockefeller Foundation. Prior to undertaking her fellowship, she worked for the Black Lawyers Association as a Program Assistant for the Placement and Subsidy Scheme. The main objective of the Scheme was to facilitate entry of law graduates from historically disadvantaged backgrounds into the legal profession.
Ms. Rampete is a recent LLM graduate of Georgetown University where she wrote a graduate paper entitled "The Struggles of Black Women Laywers in South Africa's Legal Profession Continues...". She also holds a BProc degree from the University of the North, and an LLB and Diploma in Company Law from the University of the Witwatersrand.
