As an Africa Fellow, James is focusing on a number of issues including devising program strategies, new approaches to the variety of human rights issues IHRLG addresses throughout the Continent, and training projects. He is also exploring areas of IHRLG collaboration with the newly established African Union and its member states to pursue democracy, good governance, economic development and respect for human rights within the framework of the New Partnership for Africa's Development.
